Finally got some time and motivation to update our website/blog. After spending October in TN working on our place, we made it home to KY and Bill has been deer hunting. We have quite a few deer to get into our freezer for us and the dogs. Time to get the canner out and can some of the venison from last year. Also, it is a good time to buy potatoes since they are cheap for Thanksgiving. I plan to can quite a few jars of them, along with a large portion of the turkey that I will be cooking.
Exciting news, my sister and I have a trip planned for this time next year. We will be going to Lake Tahoe for an Art Quilt retreat!
In a couple of weeks we will be headed to San Diego and the two of us along with our brother and his wife will be visiting family. This will be my first trip back since Mom passed. Quite excited to visit the wonderful family that purchased my childhood home. Beach trip with my Aunt is a no brainer, probably Coronado. Yeah!!!
