Welcome!

We are June’s Daughters. We have put this site together so that we can share our love of quilting, food preservation and the general way of life we share across the miles. Our family has been quite dispersed for years. We all grew up in San Diego, where our Mom, June, remained until her passing. Cathryn has lived in the Northwest for many years, presently in Arlington, Washington. Karyn settled in Breckinridge County, in Kentucky, after her military service. Our brother, Jim, lives in Phoenix, Arizona. Nevertheless, we kept updated with each other’s lives through the years, the common thread being our Mom.

Join us on the journey of our lifestyles. The “daughters” both live on acreage, grow gardens, can and dehydrate much of their food. Karyn and her husband have acreage that provides them ample venison each year for their meat and dog food. Yes, Karyn has dogs, many of them. . . also, horses and ducks. Cathryn and her husband have a property that should be featured in Better Homes and Gardens, the landscaping alone is breathtaking. But our main focus is QUILTS! That is what we both enjoy and share a common love of doing.
