What a summer it has been so far. After a wonderful 3 1/2 weeks traveling in our RV and spending much of our time in Colorado at Amber’s, we have been playing catch up at home. We did not plant a garden this year, knowing we would be on the road for the growing season. Yesterday I was provided a large batch of tomatoes to can. So, this morning I have spaghetti sauce in the canner and next will be jars of salsa. Finally!
The other excitement is we have hired a contractor to landscape around the storm shelter we had put in. I will be posting pictures of that work as it is getting accomplished. Right now it is a overgrown grass and mud mess. The porch is ready to get some of the new wood stained, which will be all hand painted, small areas. . .agh. Not to mention a quick turnaround trip to our property in TN to get caught up on mowing there. Busy, busy and happy!
