Karyn’s morning thoughts

Bill has been gone most of the week on a fishing trip. I have had a few days of quilting time, along with thinking about life. I got some potentially bad news about someone I love, and it has made me a bit melancholy. This morning I woke up, fed all the animals and made my coffee.  As I sit here drinking it, two main thoughts are in my head. One, I have the coolest sister in the world. No real reason to be sucking up, just wanted to mention that. I so very much enjoyed my time sharing my Kentucky home with her and perusing the quilt show. Second, I have done what I said I would not do as a quilter. I am backed up on so many projects that I feel like my entire summer, and probably fall is full of planned quilts. Actually it is a good feeling, must mean I really am a quilter now!
