Here in paducah

This is our first blog!  We are both sitting in the RV at Stagecoach Station Campground . . . on Easy Street, near Paducah.  We have completed our second day at the 2024 Quilt Show.  We started Tuesday evening at the Awards Ceremony.  Thoroughly enjoyed hearing the announcement of the winners, especially when a winner was present.  The excitement brought tears of joy to all in the room.  Followed by the opportunity to go to the “Sneak Peek” to see the winning quilts in person.

Day two we started with a full day class taught by Susan K. Cleveland.  We really enjoyed learning many new techniques taking her class, Modern Dresdens: Built on Foundation Piecing.   After a fun day playing on the Janome M8 we finished exploring more quilts and continued filling our shopping bags, while emptying our wallets at the outstanding vendors.
